Hedonism, or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Wireheading

Informal philosophy presentation where I present a case for hedonism: the view that the only proper terminal value for human beings is the achievement of pleasurable mental states. Including a discussion of "wireheading" (the production of positive mental states by direct brain stimulation), Nozick's "experience machine" (solipsistic virtual reality à la The Matrix), and why I think the usual objections people have to these are misguided.
