1st century BC rationality, or: judge Lucretius!

Lucretius was a first-century BC Roman adherent of Epicureanism, an early precursor to r/atheism. He decided to write a big long poem explaining what Epicureanism says about everything. It contains arguments for things like why centaurs never existed and why there are other earths with aliens on them. In this session, I'll present those arguments, and you'll talk with other people about whether they should have been convincing to a first-century BC audience.
