Chance I’d attend

Plotting to bring something like Lighthaven to Washington DC. Will open with a summary of my feasibility study, then will turn in to a workshop where we'll solicit feedback.

I recently published "Lighthaven East, A Feasibility Study" for filling a "Lighthaven-shaped hole" in Washington, DC. Come having skimmed it if you can.

Format: I'll summarize the plan (~15 min) and take questions (~5 min). Then we split into four stations, likely — Funding/economics, Site & zoning, Leadership profile, and Cultural &political fit. Each board runs the same two-part pre-mortem prompt: (1) "It's 2029 and Lighthaven East failed because of something on THIS board — write the one-sentence headline," then (2) "What intervention would have prevented it?" Two 15-minute rotations, so you'll work two boards; start at the one where you have the most edge. We close with each board reporting its sharpest failure→fix pairs (~10 min).

We are looking for feedback that improves the odds of the plan going right.
