Plan A is a detailed, step-by-step scenario of how the US and China could agree by 2029 to verifiably slow frontier AI development and push superintelligence out to 2040.

We’ll discuss its assumptions, tradeoffs, practicality, and whether it’s viable or too pie-in-the-sky.
