I vibecoded a platform for analyzing consumer genomics data (whole genome sequences, and "SNP Chips" like those sold by 23andMe).
You can find it here : https://www.genewizard.net/
It's currently free, but I'm thinking of monetizing it and charging $20 to offset server costs and support future development.
This is not meant to be an advertisement for my company but more of a general discussion. Gene Wizard is a side project I've built for fun and I'm not expecting to make much money from it even after it is monetized.
On the website, the SNP pages are loaded with information gleaned by an AI agent from recent publications, and those pages are meant to be the start of a replacement for SNPedia, which hasn't been updated since late 2019.
The site offers a very comprehensive analysis of pharmacogenic SNPs, using star allele calling when possible.
Another rather unique thing we offer is polygenic scores from the https://www.pgscatalog.org.
However, the polygenic scoring system is still very much a a work in progress. I am also working a stand-alone app that people can use to calculate polygenic scores from their raw read data (ie .bam or .fasta). For technical reasons the polygenic scores calculated from the .bam, are more accurate than from .vcf.
I'd be interested if people are actually finding personal genomics services useful for their health, and what people are most interested in learning about their genetics and risk.
