For thirty years, I lived paradoxically: showing in all my actions, symbols, and stories that I was gay, while sincerely thinking of myself as not-gay – even after I married a man. Now, with the help of my old writing samples taken from thirty years of archives, I will show what systematically false predictions look like from the inside while answering the age-old question: Is it gay to be attracted to men?
