Used to work at a think tank. Now working on a new spaced repetition system (think Anki/Quizlet but better). Classical musician, prolific etymology poster, still not strong enough.

We'll learn and then sing through a few "catches" - short rounds with bawdy lyrics that were popular in taverns, men's clubs, and other such disreputable places in the 17th century, some written by personages as august as Henry Purcell. Ability to read sheet music will help but isn't necessary. (Fair warning: some of the lyrics will have old-timey misogyny; accepting that is the price of entry)
